During the last 8 weeks several junior members have been receiving coaching from Howard Back. He has been teaching them the bat grip, ready position, forhand and backhand drive. Plus how to throw the ball correctly to serve.

For the test they had to perform 10 tasks correctly at least 5 out of 10 attempts. These consisted of playing forehand & backhand drives down the line and also diagonally across court. Demonstrate that they could through the ball up 16cm from palm of hand, making it land of a piece of paper on the floor. The final test was forehand and backhand combination. Forehand down the line, played back to server, who then played the ball to players backhand. They had to return the ball diagonally back to the server.
