We use some Table Tennis terminology in these guides that may be confusing to new players, below is an quick overview of what terms we use and what they mean:

Closed bat angle - the bat is angled down so that its highest point is furthest from the player
Open bat angle - the playing surface faces up and is ‘open’ underneath the ball
